Whether you have an indoor or outdoor cat, vaccinating your pet is a necessary step to protect him from the following serious and sometimes fatal illnesses:

Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis - A severe respiratory infection, which is often fatal in kittens.

Feline Calicivirus - A respiratory infection that leaves cats more susceptible to serious infections.

Feline Panleukopenia (Distemper) - A highly contagious disease and often fatal disease in kittens and cats. Symptoms include loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea.

Feline Chlamydia (pneumonitis) – A highly contagious upper-respiratory infection caused by bacteria.

Feline Leukemia (FeLV) – Feline leukemia is a contagious virus which is a major cause of serious disease and death in cats. FeLV vaccinations protect uninfected cats.

Heartworm Disease - (text to come)

Rabies - A fatal infection of the central nervous system in animals and humans. Routine vaccination is the only way to control this disease.

Recommended Vaccinations for Kittens (7 weeks to 19 weeks)

Recommended Vaccinations for Adult Cats

Adult cats normally receive the combination vaccine*, and Leukemia vaccine once a year and a rabies vaccine every three years. (after the second rabies shot).

*A combination vaccine (FVRCP&C) includes feline distemper, rhinotracheitis, and calicivirus. Some may also include chlamydia.
